It has been 25 years since we started Mundukide. We believed that opening ourselves to the world should not only serve to improve our own living conditions, but also to foster cooperation and sharing. From our commitment to solidarity, justice, and a dignified life for all people.
Still today, millions of people work under very harsh conditions. When tools, technology, markets, or support networks are scarce, even the greatest effort is not enough. That is why, at Mundukide, we work side by side with the people and groups who are transforming their daily lives. Together we promote the creation of shared, sustainable, and meaningful opportunities.
To this end, we seek new markets, apply new techniques, encourage reinvestment, strengthen collective organization, and value local knowledge—so that work may not be a source of suffering without reward, but rather a path to well-being and dignity.
In 2025, we celebrate the International Year of Cooperatives, an opportunity to reaffirm the cooperative model: democratic, resilient, people-centered, and capable of delivering remarkable results wherever it takes root.
In the 2024 report you will find examples of this: efforts and fatigue, yes, but also work that reflects hope, innovation, and a shared future. And all of it made possible thanks to the many people and organizations who, like us, believe that a different model of development is indeed achievable.
