The objective of the training session has been to identify the difficulties that may arise in the marketing of products and factors to be taken into account. The COOPERAMUNS cooperative, in addition to producing and marketing fruit pulp, has a slaughterhouse for kids and lambs. During the training, work was also done on the brand, marketing plan, price policies, margins, etc.

The cooperative will need 200,000 kilos of fruit a year to process and market the pulp. Fruit pulp is one of the most used elements in the world of cooking, especially to prepare nectars, juices, desserts, smoothies, ice creams, sauces, etc. It is an essential ingredient to prepare all kinds of recipes for restaurants, hotels, company casinos and domestic foods. It is also used for health treatments, since it is a component that contains valuable compounds for the body. Cooperamuns has obtained sales contracts for these products in schools, town halls and other public entities that deliver food baskets, including this product, highly appreciated in Ceará’s diet.

The cooperative will begin by marketing 1,000 kids and lambs per month, for which they must start and fatten the cattle to process and sell them after slaughter.
