May 1st, International Workers’ Day, is a significant day in Mozambique.
Workplaces hold parades and showcase their products or something representative of their profession.
“The Mundukide team, made up of around 50 workers, came together in one way or another in each of the districts where we work. For many, being part of Mundukide means more than a job: it means being part of a meaningful project that supports the development of many people. That’s why, on May 1st, the team participated with enthusiasm, knowing that our work contributes to something greater,” -Celina Daniel, secretary of the Sanga team, tells us.
